Mission

Our mission, as local Christian churches, is to become love.
And we believe this is accomplished by carrying on the ministry of Jesus Christ, as his followers. Furthermore, we believe in further advancing God’s kingdom, functioning under the sovereignty of Jesus Christ, and living out the good news of the love of God, exactly as Jesus commissioned his followers to do. Isaiah 61:1–2 says: “The spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor …” (ESV). As a church, we hold those verses very close to our hearts.
