Rooted in Christ. Led by the Spirit. Becoming Love.

Your marriage can grow.

Your family can grow.

You can grow.

And you don't have to do it alone.

We’re Andy & Amii.

And we’re here to help you get Rooted in Love.

Your relationship

doesn't need another set

of communication tricks.

It needs transformation

at the root.

Rooted in Love is a six-week Christian coaching program designed to help you become more aware of God's presence, recognize what's happening in your heart, surrender what isn't producing life, and learn to walk by the Spirit.

Lasting change doesn't begin with trying harder. But when we become rooted in Christ, something begins to change.

Our hearts change.

Our responses change.

Our relationships change.

And eventually, the culture of our homes changes.

The fruit isn't the root. Jesus is the root.

Love. Joy. Peace. Patience. Kindness. Goodness. Faithfulness. Gentleness. Self-control.

This is where the fruit begins to grow.

YOUR RELATIONSHIPS CAN CHANGE.

Maybe you love each other—but keep having the same arguments.

Maybe you've lost connection.

Maybe parenting has become exhausting and reactive.

Maybe you're seeing patterns from your childhood show up in your marriage or parenting.

Maybe you want your children to inherit something healthier than what you inherited.

Maybe you're doing "fine" on the outside but know there's more.

Or maybe you simply know:

"We want more of God in our home."

That's where the Bible-based coaching program Rooted in Love comes in.

ROOTED

IN LOVE

A 6-Week Program for Marriages & Families

We use a simple, powerful framework:

RECOGNIZE what's happening.

OBSERVE what's underneath it.

OFFER it to God.

TURN toward Jesus.

EMBRACE His Spirit and truth.

DEMONSTRATE the fruit.

And we learn how to cultivate the nine fruits of the Spirit:

Love. Joy. Peace. Patience. Kindness. Goodness. Faithfulness. Gentleness. Self-Control.

The fruit isn't the root.

Jesus is the root.

BREAK THE PATTERN.

BUILD

SOMETHING

NEW.

Maybe anger was normal in your family growing up.

Maybe silence was normal.

Maybe criticism.

Control.

Fear.

Unforgiveness.

Emotional distance.

What was modeled to you doesn't have to be reproduced through you.

We'll help you discover:

What are you going to stop—and what are you going to start?

Because what God grows in you can become an inheritance for the people who come after you.

We’re ready to get

Rooted in Love.

THE FRUIT

WE'RE LEARNING

TO LIVE

Galatians 5 gives us a picture of what Holy Spirit produces in a surrendered life:

Love. Joy. Peace. Patience. Kindness. Goodness. Faithfulness. Gentleness. Self-control.

These aren't simply qualities we're trying to perform.

They're evidence of a heart increasingly yielded to Jesus.

And they become incredibly practical when they enter our homes.

What does love look like when you're frustrated?

What does peace look like when you disagree?

What does patience look like when someone is still growing?

What does gentleness look like when someone is vulnerable?

What does self-control look like when your emotions are intense?

Rooted in Love takes these beautiful Biblical truths and brings them into the places where real life happens.

Your marriage.

Your parenting.

Your home.

FOR MARRIAGES

Stop trying to win the argument. Start learning to love like Jesus.

Marriage can be beautiful, really super beautiful.

And marriage can also expose everything in us that still needs Jesus.

The moments that trigger you aren't necessarily interruptions to your growth.

They can become invitations into it.

Rooted in Love: Marriage is a six-week program for couples who want more than better communication.

It's for couples who want to build a marriage that is increasingly:

rooted in Christ, led by the Spirit, and becoming love.

Together you'll learn to:

  • recognize your own patterns instead of focusing primarily on your spouse's

  • understand what is happening beneath your reactions

  • surrender anger, fear, control, disappointment, and resentment to Jesus

  • practice the nine fruits of the Spirit in your marriage

  • identify destructive patterns you've inherited or learned

  • create healthier patterns for your home

  • repair when you've hurt one another

  • grow in humility, trust, gentleness, and self-control

  • build a marriage culture that reflects Jesus

You don't need a perfect marriage to begin.

You just need two people willing to say:

"Jesus, start with me."

FOR FAMILIES

Your family doesn't have to keep repeating the same patterns.

Every family passes something forward.

Stories.

Values.

Traditions.

Faith.

Habits.

Ways of communicating.

Ways of handling conflict.

Some things are beautiful and worth carrying forward.

Other things need to stop.

Rooted in Love: Family is a six-week program to help your family become more intentional about the culture you're creating together.

You'll learn how to bring the life of Jesus into everyday family moments—not just Sunday mornings or family devotions.

You'll practice:

  • recognizing emotions without shame

  • slowing down before reacting

  • surrendering difficult emotions to Jesus

  • choosing the Spirit instead of automatic reactions

  • practicing the fruit of the Spirit at home

  • listening to one another

  • repairing when someone gets hurt

  • building trust

  • creating space for honesty and vulnerability

  • identifying patterns you want to stop

  • intentionally establishing patterns you want to pass forward

Your children don't need perfect parents.

They need parents who are willing to keep turning toward Jesus.

And your family doesn't need to get everything right.

You can repair, begin again, and keep growing.

We’re ready to begin.

MEET THE COACHES

We're Andy & Amii—loved by God, married and best friends for 20 years, parents of 6 amazing kids, founders of Become Love Church, street church pastors on the Central Coast of California, and Christian marriage and family coaches with Rooted in Love.

We have 3 graduate degrees between the two of us: MA, MS, and a MSW. We’ve served in ministry together for more than 20 years. But what we value most is the intimacy God invites us into and the miracles we’ve seen God do in our marriage and family. And because of that, we’re passionate about seeing other marriages and families experience restoration and blessing.

Other than that, jiu-jitsu is a big part of our family’s lifestyle. We also homeschool, love surfing, are big on candle-lit family dinners, and are always down for an epic road trip. No matter what we’re doing, our family loves abiding in the presence of God and experiencing His love. And we want to help you experience that in your relationships too.

WELCOME TO OUR BEAUTIFUL WORLD

WELCOME TO OUR BEAUTIFUL WORLD

OUR FAMILY IS PERFECT TO US.

BUT WE’RE NOT A PERFECT FAMILY.

And that's important.

We're not inviting you into coaching because we've figured everything out.

We're inviting you because we've experienced the goodness of God in the middle of our own growth.

We've had hard conversations.

We’ve had to apologize often.

We've had to recognize our own patterns.

We've had to learn humility.

We’ve had to surrender.

We’ve had to choose love, even when it hurt.

We've had to keep turning toward Jesus.

And we're still doing it.

That's the journey.

Recognize.
Observe.
Offer.
Turn.
Embrace.
Demonstrate.

Again.

And again.

And again.

This Is For You If...

You're tired of having the same argument over and over.

You're wondering why certain reactions seem almost automatic.

You love your spouse but feel stuck in unhealthy patterns.

You want your children to experience something different from what you experienced growing up.

You want your family to be closer to God.

You want practical tools grounded in Scripture.

You want to learn how to repair instead of simply move on.

You want to understand what happens beneath your reactions.

You want your home to become increasingly characterized by the fruit of the Spirit.

Or maybe you simply know:

"God is inviting us into something more."

This Isn't For You If...

You're looking for someone to tell you whether your spouse is the problem.

You're looking for a coach to take sides.

You're looking for a quick communication hack.

You're looking for someone to force reconciliation without addressing safety, truth, repentance, or wisdom.

We don't do that.

Safety matters.

Truth matters.

Wisdom matters.

Repentance matters.

And there are circumstances—including abuse, coercive control, serious mental-health crises, and other situations—where professional or specialized support is necessary.

Our coaching is Christian relational coaching, not a substitute for professional mental-health, licensed therapy, medical, legal, or crisis services.

Ready to Begin?

Your marriage can grow.

Your family can grow.

You can grow.

And you don't have to do it alone.

What Happens

During Coaching?

Every session opens and closes with prayer, and combines biblical teaching, conversation, practical exercises, reflection, and real-life application.

You'll have opportunities to:

Learn

Understand what Scripture says about relationships, the flesh, and the fruit of the Spirit.

Pray

Invite God into the places that need transformation.

Reflect

Look honestly at your own heart and patterns.

Repair

Learn how to move toward one another after hurt.

Practice

Work through real scenarios together.

Apply

Leave with practical homework for the week.

This isn't another course where you listen to someone talk for an hour and then forget everything by Tuesday.

We want you practicing the paradigm in real life.

IMAGINE YOUR HOME …

Imagine your marriage where:

  • • You can disagree without destroying connection.

  • • You know how to pause before reacting.

  • • You can admit when you're wrong.

  • • You can listen without immediately defending yourself.

  • • You can talk about difficult things with greater gentleness.

  • • You know how to repair after conflict.

  • • You aren't controlled by every emotion.

  • •You are learning to receive your deepest identity and security from God.

Imagine your family where:

  • • Apologies are normal.

  • • Parents can say, "I was wrong."

  • • Children can express themselves respectfully.

  • • People listen instead of immediately correcting.

  • • Kindness becomes part of the culture.

  • • Conflict doesn't have to mean rejection.

  • • Everyone gets room to grow.

  • • Old patterns don't automatically become the next generation's patterns.

That's the kind of transformation we're inviting you to pursue.

Not perfection.

Presence.

Not performance.

Abiding.

Not manufacturing fruit.

Staying rooted in Jesus.

WE NEED THIS.
